Street trading has become a menace in the western area.
Traders with different wares are seen in almost all the streets in Freetown congesting the streets making it difficult for human and vehicular traffic.
Many attempts by the police to remove them from the streets proved futile.
However, as a move to address the problem, the Freetown City Council has decided to construct a modern market at Sewa ground to relocate the traders.
