The Minister of Internal Affairs has taken up office from the outgoing Minister Joseph Bandabla Dauda. It attracted staff of departments and agencies under the Internal Affairs Ministry.
During the handing over, the outgoing Minister Joseph Bandabla Dauda thanked the President for according him the opportunity to serve as Minister.
Joseph Bandabla Dauda catalogued some of the achievements and ongoing programmes of the ministry and said he hoped they will be actualized with the good leadership of Rtd. Major Alfred Palo Conteh.
The incoming minister promised to carry out the ministry’s mandate and programmes for the development of the country. The newly appointed Deputy Minister and the permanent secretary also gave their fullest support to promote the government’s agenda for prosperity.
