Few hours left for Sierra Leone to be declared Ebola free

It is less than thirty six hours for Sierra Leone to be declared Ebola free by the World Health Organization if no new case is recorded.

The expectations of people for Saturday 7th November are high. The Ebola disease has been a bitter experience for the country following the outbreak in kailahun in 2014. Over eight thousand people were infected with the virus.

Major RTD Alfred Palo Conteh is the Chief Executive Officer of NERC, he spoke to SLBC’s Daphne Zainab Kamara about the Ebola Count Down.
