As part of efforts to complement government in the Ebola fight, the Standard Chartered Bank in Sierra Leone recently funded the production an Ebola soap opera radio programme titled “Oos Kin Tin Dis” produced by Premier radio.

The Bank has awarded listeners after the third episode ended followed by a quiz competition at a ceremony held at the Standard Chartered Bank. The programme is being aired on Forty Eight Radio Stations across the country. Many people described the programme as educative which is helping them preventive themselves from Ebola attack.

The Producer of the programme, Desmond Finney, called on Sierra Leoneans to continue listening to the programme which started since January this year. He was optimistic that the programme will continue to episode four.

Chief Executive Officer Standard Chartered Bank, Idrissa Amadu Kamara said his institution is not only interested in profiteering but to support the government in terms of development as part of their corporate social responsibility. The winners describe the Programme as timely, educative and interactive.
