THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE HAS APPOINTED VARIOUS PEOPLE AS AMBASSADORS AND HEADS OF OTHER STATUTORY BODIES IN SIERRA LEONE.

The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone has appointed various people as Ambassadors and Heads of other statutory bodies in Sierra Leone.
The People that were appointed to their various positions are, Ambassador Khadiatu Bassir: Director-General and Ambassador at Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Haja Afsatu Kabba: High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Umu Hawa Tejan Jalloh: High Commissioner to the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Ebun Strasser-King: Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal, Dr. Staneala Beckley: Chairman, Sierra Leone Teaching Service Commission, Mr. Lansana Dumbuya: Chairman, Sierra Leone Maritime Administration . Engineer Abdulai Aziz Kamara: Director General, Sierra Leone Roads Authority and Engineer Memuna Kumba Jalloh: Deputy Director General, Sierra Leone Roads Authority.
Five of the eight appointees are women. Several women who spoke to SLBC on the appointment said, the president has shown that he is committed in working towards the realization of the thirty percent quota in Sierra Leone.
These people will be going through parliament for approval.
