Over one hundred and fifty Road Safety Corps have graduated from the Benguema Military Barracks.

The Road Safety Corps who were  formerly  called Traffic Wardens were taken  to the Benguema Military Barracks by the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority SLRSA in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Aviation to be trained on management, Discipline, Leadership, Communication Skills, among others.

According to the Executive Director, SLRSA Dr. Sarah Bendu, the traffic wardens were seriously criticized by the public for not executing their jobs professionally.

This accusation according to her, led to the training of the corps so that they can perform their jobs professionally to keep the road safe for all users.
