The National Paralympic Committee on a two day capacity building training program

The National Paralympic Committee NPC of Sierra Leone has started a two day capacity building training program at the Siaka Stevens stadium.

The training which attracted over thirty participants was geared towards building the capacity of those involve in Paralympic sports. SLBC Head of Sports and Entertainment, Unisa Deen Kargbo who was the program lead took participants through two major topics. Paralympic Brand and Organizational Capacity. He narrated that, the two major roads to a successful sport program is creating a vision which is achievable and realistic. He explained more of Sports Development. He was very concern about unity and early preparation. Mr. Kargbo mentioned about the sport circle which is four years and urged that sports planners must direct their efforts towards achieving meaningful goals. He spoke at length about the Smart techniques in preparing a strategic plan.

Administrative Secretary of the National Paralympic Committee Alex Thullah (African Teacher) pointed out the need to publicize events.

Participants in their different reactions praised the NPC for consistency, noting that, they will continue to attend Agistos Foundation programs.

The two days training will end with a delivery on Paralympic Games.
