SLAJ holds symposium on World Press Freedom Day

The President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists, Kelvin Lewis has said the continued presence and the use of the criminal libel law is a constant threat of the right to media freedom.

Mr. Lewis made this statement during a symposium commemorating World Press Freedom Day at SLAJ’s Headquarters on Campbell Street.

The theme for this year’s World Press Freedom Day is “Access to Information and Fundamental Freedoms. It’s your right!
