EPA & partners engage Aberdeen Community on Developmental issues

The Environment Protection Agency, Office of National Security and the National Tourist Board have held a forum with the people of Aberdeen on the need to protect the Aberdeen creek.

It could be recalled that the Aberdeen Creek Over the years has come under uncontrolled encroachment by land grabbers whom sometimes encroach without valid documents.

The Aberdeen Creek is a wetland which makes it fall under areas that are to be protected according to the Ramza convention to which Sierra Leone is a signatory.

The forum took place at the Aberdeen Community Center.
