Secretary to Cabinet and Head of Civil Service, Dr. Ernest Surrur, has returned from China after taken part in a Practitioner-to-Practitioner Study Tour on “Public Administration for Sustainable Development for Least Developed Countries.
The Study Tour was aimed at Strengthening Capacities of Least Developed Countries to Deliver Quality Services through the Transfer and Adaption of Innovative Practices.
The objective of the study tour was to Expose participants to new initiatives in different areas of public services delivery and, Showcase linkages between subject areas and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The Tour is expected to contribute to the development of participants in terms of increasing knowledge, skills and strengthening networking for Sustainable Development in the Least Developed Countries.
The Workshop was facilitated by the Division of Public Administration and Development Management of the United Nations in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Governance.
