As mandated for by law the committee on appointment and the public service chair by Hon. Ibrahim Bundu has interviewed various presidential nominees for various position of trust.
The vetting process for the first time saw protesters raising concerns over the appointment of some of the nominees including Mohamed Bangura and Dr Christiana Thorpe.
Meanwhile, opposition parties called Parliament not to approve two of the nominees as they faced the parliamentary panel.
Protesters with placards and banners were outside calling on the committee not to approve Minister of Information and the deputy minister of Education.
