Bribery is on the increase in the traffic sector of the Sierra Leone police

A report put together by coalition of civil society and human rights watched dogs in the country has indicated that bribery is on the increase in the traffic sector of the Sierra Leone police and that government loses seven hundred billion Leones from license fees and potential fines for traffic offences that are not paid to authorize revenue collection agencies.

The report which titled Corruption Stops with Us- Ending Bribery for Traffic Offences in Sierra Leone at the SLAJ Headquarters Campbell Street was launched by the Institute of Governance Reform.
